BACK-ON – Around the world | Lyrics, Romaji, LRC

Following the release of BACK-ON‘s new single wimp ft. Lil’ Fang (from FAKY earlier this week, we have been listening to the two B-side tracks included on-repeat, so we could not wait to share the lyrics with you!

Around the world is definitely one of my favourite songs by the band and is tied-in to the Gundam iOS/Android app game: SD Gundam G-Generation Frontier. Unfortunately the game is not available in English but you can still watch this Youtube trailer to get an idea of how the game works. It appears to be quite popular with over 3 million players as shown on the official website:

Going back to the song – it is a fast tempo rock-rap track that will get you jumping up and down singing ‘Around, around, around the world’ with KENJI03, but the highlights for me are the electronic effects in the song (the auto tune just works so well) and the jaw-droppingly epic rap executed by TEEDA, particular from 1:36.  The song is over far too quickly and the phone dialling tone at the start did make me nostalgic for Butterfly, one of BACK-ON‘s first ‘electronic’ songs.

This time, We have Uta-Net to thank for the Kanji lyrics and once we have an English translation, we will post it here too.
