In reference to Japanese, I know survival stuff and a tinny bit of the more complex stuff. A friend of mine is helping me learn particles, kanji and some vocab. With some good cramming I might be able to at least hold a simple conversation while I'm there.
Hmmm. I would say you would need a good singing voice, whether or not you actually sound good singing. You definitely need good vocal technique and obviously good breath control. Its skillful to be able to rap fast and clearly.
