Maybe it's worth starting a thread of 'useful japanese phrases' (not 'where is the ...'?) but maybe sentences such as "Oh my god, it is Back-on!" "what a coincidence!" "I've wanted to meet you since forever!" "Will you sign my cd please?" "I'm just shopping..." "where do you spend most of your time?" "do you mind if I take notes about you?" etc.
