‘Vein’ featuring Hero, 冠, ANIMAL-K,T2LOW – PV from ‘House of Punk’

As promised in the last post about House of Punk, today’s post focuses on a PV video of one of the tracks from the collaboration album! Alas, it’s not the song featuring Teeda, but I really do like it, and I hope you’ll agree that it is definitely a track worth introducing after you read the introduction and watch the video! :)

The song, Vein, features Hero (Dogma) as the vocalist (and MC), (The Kanmuri) as the main MC, and T2LOW(Skunkrice, LD69PX) as the ‘Track maker’. Animal-K is also credited for (I believe) his role as the Producer. If you’re interested in learning more about all the artists working on the album, you can visit Loud69Punx’s Myspace for a detailed list of credits!

Moving on to the track Vein itself, I just have to reiterate that I love it. Whilst one shouldn’t really pigeon-hole songs to a particular genre at this stage of the review, if any reader is familiar with music by the artist BT (or Paul Oakenfold?), this track will definitely remind you again of his work! For those looking for a brief introduction: BT is sometimes called the “Father of Trance” and is known as an electronic musician.

However, Vein is not only an amazingly catchy trance and electronic track (from T2Low, easily heard in the Skunkrice videos) as it features a strong vocal chorus (from Hero, his voice is gorgeous, so try listening to more audio samples from Dogma, a ‘Loud Rock’ band) and MC’ing ( as the main MC, along with I think Hero and T2Low) The sum of all the above coupled with the impeccable mixing (imho) results in what is undeniably a successful collaboration!

Last but not least, let us move onto the PV, which – if Skunkrice’s videos are anything to go by – is directed by T2Low, and utilises CGI and (rhythm) visualisations, giving a rather psychedelic effect. I think it goes very well with the song but would love to find out what others thought of it!

So please watch the PV and listen to the song, and let us know what you think! :) The video has been provided courtesy of tamachan349 and you can watch it below too!
