Murder Princess OVA OST – Hikari Sasuhou (FK Metal ver.) TV-Size mp3!

Ever since we posted about the official release of the Murder Princess OVA OST, we’ve been checking on Nipponsei on a daily basis to see if we could find the official TV-size version of Hikari Sasuhou (FK Metal ver.) which was used as the OP of the straight-to-video anime, and it is definitely one of the most popular songs by Back-on!

I’m happy to say that the soundtrack is now available on Nipponsei, but not before Yakhobian of CrystalNova kindly emailed us with his copy of the song, so a big thanks to Yakhobian for sharing the file! You may recall that this is the same Yakhobian-san who originally provided us all with the original recording of Hikari Sasuhou (FK Metal ver)!

You can find the download below, and if you’re interested in singing along to the lyrics or finding out what they mean, take a look at the Lyrics, which have also been kindly provided by Yakhobian too! :)

p/s: Don’t forget to check out the latest fan-sub release of Murder Princess OVA by CrystalNova!

About this entry

Murder Princess OVA OP – Hikari Sasuhou (FK Metal ver.) lyrics updated!

As per the title, the lyrics for the Murder Princess OVA OP – Hikari Sasuhou (FK Metal ver.) has been updated, with the correct lyrics based on Hikari Sasuhou (Survive ver.) as well as a revised translation and romaji!

Yakhobian's Avatar

The updates have all been provided by Yakhobian of the anime fansub group Crystal Nova, so Back-on Online would like to thank him profusely for sharing his work!

On another note, Crystal Nova have just released their fansub of Murder Princess OVA – Volume 4. As previously, the .mkv files come in two different qualities and their associated sizes:

[CrystalNova]Murder Princess OVA – Vol 4 (H264 Vorbis)[HQ][D7CEBC55].mkv (200MB)
[CrystalNova]Murder Princess OVA – Vol 4 (H264 LameCBR)[LQ][EFDD4876].mkv (116MB)

so depending on which you prefer, head on over to their forums to download the torrent! It’s definitely worth watching this episode as there’s more drama, mystery and also a decent fight scene! I should also add that Marvelous Entertainment and Bee Train (the producers of the Murder Princess OVA) have actually thrown in some new and decent background music for this episode, so do watch it!

Back-on’s TV Size mp3s for Air Gear, Murder Princess and Eyeshield 21

I read somewhere that it’s good for sites to do summary posts sometimes, and although I’ve been tempted to try it several times, it’s taken me a while to think of a good summary theme to post about!

This is actually sort of in-conjunction with Sowon‘s Back-on Music Competition on the Forums, where each time, participants have to sing one particular song (TV size version) from Back-on‘s repetoire. (Please consider entering the competition, minna! :D) Usually, it does help to ‘record’ with the song in question playing in the background, which brings me to the main topic:

where can I find TV size mp3s of Back-on‘s songs?

It would probably be helpful to first provide a list of the songs, so without further ado in the order of Anime Title | Type | Song Title :

Anime Title Type Song Title
Air Gear OP Chain
Murder Princess (OVA) OP ヒカリサスホウ Hikari Sasuhou (FK Metal ver.)
Eyeshield 21 OP BLAZE LINE
Eyeshield 21 ED a day dreaming…

Aside from Chain, most of the mp3s are available for download somewhere on Back-on Online, and since this is a summary post, you can find the direct-links to the posts in question below:

But where can you find Chain? This only happens to be one of the most popular Back-on songs ever. The answer is simple: visit Japtard.com. Or more specifically,

view the post Air Gear OST – What a Groovy Trick!

You can the entire OST available for download (at 320kbps) – either as a zip file, or individual mp3 files. Chain (TV Size) is the first song on the 34-track album. The download has kindly been provided by Frox, who has credited Nipponsei for the original release.

Hopefully this post will be helpful to those searching for ‘that’ opening/ending theme by Back-on. Almost every single one so far also has their corresponding lyrics posted on the site somewhere, so take a look at the Lyrics section if you’re interested, particularly if you’d like to participate in the competition!

Murder Princess OAV IV has been released, why not watch it online?

Apologies for the sudden silence with regards to news updates. Alas it was moving time last week, and I’m sure others would agree when I say that it is unbelievable how much (rubbish) one can really accumulate in a year! Anyway, spring cleaning aside, it hasn’t left much time for writing up news updates although I’m still following the news!

Today’s update will be the announcement that Murder Princess OAV 4 has just been released! :) I’ve been able to watch the raw version thanks to [Q-R], but as usual, most of the dialogue is a bit beyond my understanding, but you can look forward to a few revelations, action-scenes and also some flashbacks. ^^ The best part is they’ve finally started using some really interesting BGM, and it really does make a difference imho!

You can now also watch it without having to download/torrent the file with thanks to Aroduc! He/she has uploaded the file to Youtube, and you can watch it below!

About this entry

Murder Princess OAV OST due out on June 27th 2007!

The original news came courtesy of Sowon a little while ago, and there are now only 2 more days until the release of the Murder Princess OST!

Murder Princess OST Cover (HMV.co.jp)

If you’re wondering why this is so significant, this is Back-on wrote/performed the OP, which is a variation of their own release ヒカリサスホウ (Hikari Sasuhou). The released track is undeniably one of Back-on‘s most popular songs, and the new variation is known as

ヒカリサスホウ Hikari Sasuhou (fk Metal ver.)

The OST (AVCA26256) is set to retail at Â¥3059, and will feature 43 tracks, most of which will be the anime’s BGM. Unfortunately (as with most anime OSTs) the CD will only feature the TV size versions of both the OP and the ED.

The ED, Naked Flower, is sung by Romi Paku (who voices Alita Forland, the main character) and the full version is already available on CD.

Alas to-date, Back-on have yet to release a full version of ヒカリサスホウ Hikari Sasuhou (fk Metal ver.), which has slightly different lyrics to their album version. The closest release that we’ve been able to find was actually from a compilation album Survive, and you can find out more information about it in the First Glance: ‘Survive’ compilation post. We’ve decided to christen it as the

ヒカリサスホウ Hikari Sasuhou (Survive ver.)

which BOO provided for visitors to download last week. In case you want to listen to the fk Metal ver. before June 27th 2007, you can download a video-rip of the song courtesy of Yakhobian, which you can find here.

We will be providing an OST mp3 of the of ヒカリサスホウ Hikari Sasuhou (fk Metal ver.) in a few days courtesy of Nipponsei, so please watch this space! :)

p/s: Murder Princess OAV Volume 4 is also released on DVD on the same day!

About this entry

Watch Murder Princess OVA DVD Volume 1 (Raw) on Youtube!

The user darkusagi has uploaded the first DVD (raw) in 3 parts on Youtube! Although he/she wasn’t the first, as EvilSefirotMK uploaded one part first, darkusagi has gone the extra mile by uploading all parts, and also providing a clean version of the opening and ending credits. I’ve decided to include the videos later in the post (you’ll have to click on Read more…) but in the meantime…

The opening credits (as mentioned before) features ヒカリサスホウ Hikari Sasuhou (FK Metal ver.) – an alternative version of Hikari Sasuhou first heard in the trailer clip. It is approximately 1:30 min long and is really worth listening to in my opinion – I especially love the rap! I’ve managed to record it from the Youtube videos and have decided to post it on the radio for you to listen to as well! I apologise for the bad quality (a result of the original recording and the subsequent compressing), but please let me know what you think of the ‘new’ Hikari Sasuhou! :)
