Each week (or a period of time) this section will have a different playlist, each featuring tracks from a different Back-on album/single. There will also be one song available for downloading in mp3 format as well. The aim of this section is to provide a ‘one-stop’ place for fans and potential fans to listen to Back-on’s work - ‘try before you buy‘. If you want to support Back-on, buy their albums and attend their concerts! They are generally priced around the ¥ 1600 range (singles are cheaper), which at current exchange rates is about £ 7.00 or $ 14.00. I will try and compile a list of online shops that you can check for the best deals/rates. Quick examples are Play-asia.com (e.g. I bought New World from there for about £10.00 including shipping) Yesasia.com and Amazon.co.jp.
Radio
For the sixth series (May 28th 2008) , we are continuing to ’showcase’ almost all of Back-on’s recent releases on the radio and have just added (a shout out to EJ here!) their brand new single Sands of time to the play-list!
We were lucky enough to listen to the single before receiving the CD in the post today, due to some very kind BOO members, particularly Ichiban (one of our forum moderators!) so a big thank you to ichi!
It would be great to find out what everyone thinks of the brand new single! Back-on have experimented a little for this single, and for fans of Teeda, this is probably one of the best presents ever as Teeda is clearly the main ‘man’ behind the songs in Sands of time!

Downloads
Hisashiburi minna-san! It has been a while since the last Downloads update (January 5th 2008) and thus apologies are due as usual. Thanks to all who have taken the time to vote though (554)!
So onto the eighth series of Downloads (April 27th 2008) which I shall regard a special edition as this is particularly in celebration of our first birthday on April 6th 2008!
First up, news about which songs took the top 2 positions from our last poll: Butterfly was the top favourite with 30% of the vote, followed by Grab attracting 21% of the participants. These two songs will (as usual) be our featured downloads for this series!
For those who don’t know about Grab, it is quite a rare song as well as it was only available from the Survive compilation album. Do check out Back-on’s Discography for more information! :) It’s a little heavier than some of the band’s other music, but the intro and verses are definitely my favourite parts of the song!
And for two weeks only (until May 11th 2008) rather than the usual one week, because we want to celebrate our birthday properly, so yet again by popular demand (it really is popular!) Hikari Sasuhou (Survive ver.) [also from the Survive compilation] is available for download! :)

The EXCLUSIVE DEBUT of Back-on’s early work: Fighting Style!
As far as we know, this track was featured in a demo CD called MONSTERS ROCK VOL.1 that was only available from the similarly-titled live event. It is raw and energetic, and I have to say, I do really like it. I really hope you will too, so let us know what you think! :)
All songs are (as usual) very high quality files, ripped at 320kbps using Exact Audio Copy (with the exception of Fighting Style, which is a respectable 192kbps) from the Butterfly single and the Survive compilation album (Fighting Style came in mp3 form)

first time I heard this band was when I watched Air gear and the opening song Chain sung by Back-on was really rock and awesome.I grow to love this band a lot , their music is so special (though I don’t understand Japanese )and somehow like Linkin Park, my favourite rockband.Can’t wait for their full album upcoming.

wow when i first heard their song on Air Gear i just began to like these guys more and more and now i love ‘em…but here is the thing i am Aussie and i really can’t understand Japanese…their songs are teaching me!!!!
