Crystal Kay is a female j-pop singer. You may of heard of her song as Motherland on Full Metal Alchemist. I didn't know who she was until today and I'm starting to like her songs. She is part African American and Korean but is fluent in both English and Japanese, and studied French. I like her style and the way she sings.

She needs to make a song with Back-on as a single or some thing. I think they would make a great song. Her vocal skills with Tweeda and the others doing their thing, that song would be hot.

Thanks for the recommendation, max I watched some of the videos and she's pretty cool! On Wiki it says that she's often compared to Amerie, an artist that I'm listening to at the moment (Gotta Work) - so didn't know that both had korean origins! ^^ Pretty darn cool anyway.

It would be wonderful if Back-on could collaborate with female artists too I think individually Teeda has done it before on one of the older compilation albums (or could be the GFS one? will have to check) but I think she was a rap artist or something?

Looking at Amerie again they do kind of look alike but Crystal kay still I think have her own style in music compared to Amerie. Crystal kay is still young and her career as a singer will contiue to grow. The same is for Amerie as she will contiue to become big and step away from that image of being like Beyonce as people are always comparing her with.

It's great that Crystal Kay has shown (at this stage) that she's capable of mellow songs as well as fast ones! I wish I was fluent in Japanese/English/French too!

She's preeeeeeeety! haha. Ah, and yeah, "Motherland" is one of my favorites of her's. Her best song is "ETERNAL MEMORIES" or "LOST CHILD."
